about using standards, CFQ’s or formative assessment in the following ways……
This
module has helped me think about using standards, CFQ’s or formative assessment
when I tried them out on my students and saw that my students were actually
analyzing and synthesizing what they had learned and not just using rote memorization
for the test. It took extra time on my
part to develop a rubric and grade the papers but what the students wrote in expository
non-fiction writing was amazing. They also
learned more when doing a movie.
